District Nurses

The District Nursing Services visit housebound patients, in their own home, and services include

  • Wound care
  • Care of the terminally ill
  • Care of the chronically sick
  • Care of the disabled

Works closely with the surgery providing support for our homeless patients.

Health Visitors & Flying Start

The Services offered include:

  • Children’s Health Checks
  • Advice on children’s health
  • Post natal well-being
  • Health promotion and advice
  • Baby Clinics on Wednesday from 11.30-13.30
  • Home visiting

Midwife

Antenatal clinic is run on a Wednesday Morning from 11.00 to 12.00 noon at the Health Centre, mainly by Fiona. The Community Midwife team can be contacted at Anwen Ward, Llandough Hospital on 029 2071 6040
